The Off the Mats Podcast is hosted by Jake Dante, a jiu jitsu practitioner in Maryland and all around regular guy. On the show, various topics are discussed ranging from training to dealing with injury and mental health as it relates to martial arts. We also talk about other topics outside of that realm that can go anywhere from comic books to films to pro wrestling and even just general family life.

What's up, loyal listeners? This week on the podcast, I welcome a very good friend as we accidentally recorded this episode. We were meant to record a 15 to 20-minute Q&A session, and it turned into a 3-hour therapy session for both of us. My guest this week is JB, but many of you may know her as Jits_Bitch from Instagram. In our therapy session, we discuss our colorful upbringings, caring too much, and Cabbage Patch Kids. Buckle up for a potentially triggering 90 minutes of Dante and JB going deep into the woods as we forgot that we were recording at one point.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukah, and Happy Kwanzaa....or as I like to say.... What's up? I'm glad you all are back for another episode.
